I have Easy CD creator deluxe which has a slide show for viewing from a CD, but I was thinking more along the lines of the "my picture" folder in windows ME where all the photo files are shown as thumbnails & you click on the photo you want to view. I have copied this folder onto a CDR but it plays up, it's very slow to load & causes blue screens of death, a normal folder full of photo files as in Win 98 copies & loads fine but you really need the thumb nails to make it nice to view. Does anyone know of a program that will give me a folder with thumbnails for copying on to CDs? Thanks

It is going into RAM.

Do this, change the view to files, not thumbnails on the actual CD.

Put the pics you want in a CD Pics Folder....

This will eliminate the image viewer from gobbling up your RAM.

Save the pic the same way you would save a word file.

Copy to EZ, and burn

Works for me!

You're way works fine Bill, but when you open the CD all you see is files. I was after getting the look of the Win ME "my photo's folder" so when you open the CD you can see all the files as thumb nails & just click on what you fancy looking at without having to look at file names. I have 128meg so don’t know if that’s not enough, I think there is an issue with Win MEs photo folder when I copy it to CD. How do I change the view on the CD between files & thumbnails?

Click on the view at the top of the screen. You will see...

Large icons
Small icons
List
Details
Thumbnails.

Burn the CD from another folder outside of my documents/my pictures.

Just move them somewhere else...I create new folders...like "Vacation early 2001"

I never burn from my docs/my pics file.
