Thanks to John, the New Rechargable batteries make this unit (HP215) a joy.

I once was in the position to get really serious about Photography. I built the Room, and had a checklist of all the equipment I would need, right down to signing up for a class, and hanging out with the pros.

I Guess to really do it right, a nice Leica, Darkroom (fully equip.)and all the Goodies would be as much fun as the Tube amps and tweaking. I simply could not find the time to share my Hi FI Obsession with the Photography Art.

I have noticed over the years that Hi Fi "Buffs" usually do photography on an advanced scale, along with small British Automobiles, or some sort of sport car.

The digital camera is plenty adaquate for my intended purpose. Just love the fact that in two mins., I can take an image that is right here, and Post it for the World to see if that is what I want to do.

What does it take these days to really equaly Professional 35 MM in a digital?

I may just go on up within 6 months, to a Dig camera that hopefully will rival the Leica's....If that is even possible.

I don't think there is any digital camera that can rival a traditional SLR. Traditional cameras take pictures that are continous whereas digital images are discrete and made of dots.
