Other then being highly opinionated, I think he's very educational. My son-in-law thinks he's a real smuck.

 but he generally speaks the truth and is not afraid to go against convention. I don't think he's a "schmuck" at all.

Ken's website is very educational ... a lot of good information. He appears to be more of a snap shooter oriented person, and does not give fair due to people who are trying to get really great pictures from an artistic or technical viewpoint. For other good sites check out Thom Hogan, Fred Miranda and Photozone.

 Only when I need a good laugh.

It's funny how Ken elicits a strong reaction from people. He's one of those "love him or hate him" guys. I personally don't agree with half he says but I respect his right to his opinion.

I'm a Nikon guy and much prefer to listen to the advice of Thom Hogan.

 I dont like how he always begging for money more like a leach but I used his it was one of many reviews as part of my process in purchasing the Nikon 10-24MM lens b
