Need help setting WAV encoder in iTunes

Please help. When I set my iTunes for the WAV encoder and I close the window it reverts back to the AIFF encoder. It won't stay set for WAV. Is there an 'apply' button that I am not seeing at the bottom of the window that I may be missing? Thanks

I sent it to the wrong board. I did move the same question posted in "Digital" to the Computer Audio board. æ If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.
