I am building a new computer(first one since 10yrs ago)so I am not up on all this hew technology.Iwant to buy a vidio card for this new computer.I dont need anythig realy high end,but I want something that will last incase I want to expand my present capabilities.I will be using a flat panel display,.I want to be able to work with digital pictures,also I would like to have television capabilities,just incase.I will not be doing any gaming.....Thanks....DK

What's your price range ($100, $100 - $200, $200+). What motherboard do intend to use. Some of the newer 915 or 925 motherboards do not have AGP slots but rather use PCI Express for video. Right off the bat the one recommendation (AGP) I have would be an ATI "ALL-IN-WONDER" Radeon 9800PRO. About $250 with all the bells and whistles. Something a little less fancy (an a little less money) would be Matrox Millennium P650 video card. Excellent 2D capability.

The motherboard is a Intel D850MD ATAUltra 100/66 Ultra ata33.The processor is a Intel Pentium 4 2.26 533mhz 512kb cach.....Thank You for your help......DK
