 Dell & HP make a good machine. You get a 3 year warranty and a phone number to call when you got problems. But inside at best you're going to get value level parts. Things like Celeron or Intel 'B' level processors. They work but they're designed to make HP & Dell money. Do yourself a favor go to a site like www.newegg.com and build a machine yourself. It's easy and you'll put better quality parts in your machine for about the same money. Plus if something goes wrong having built it your self you'll have some insight into where to start fixing it your self. Also by using the web you'll have thousands of people who can help correct problems. Just my $0.02.

Your 0.02 is going to save me a couple of hundred $$ on a high-quality self-assembled desktop. Again, thanks. :)

 These are really good computers....you can get these at sam's club on their web site only
