How early can we remember? I can picture some that I can't remember the titles of.

Peter Rabbit - Beatrix Potter
Babar - Jean De Brunhoff
Winnie-the-Pooh - Milne / Shepard
Asterix - Goscinny / Uderzo
Alice In Wonderland - Lewis Carroll
Watership Down - Richard Adams

My wife's a bit anti AA Milne, she's a tad more anti-pom than me, but I keep my own counsel.

yer know that bit in WITW where Ratty and Mole get to moley's home, and there's not much variety to eat. but, they manage.

bit like 'Ready, Steady, Cook' innit.
