I usualy post on Vinyl or Speaker asylum but I bought a computer and I need a wide screen monitor, about a 22" would be fine. The Sunday papers were full of all kinds of brands. Lot`s of buys in the low/mid $200`s.
I play around with photography and like to print my own. What resolution should I look for, it seems like every monitor in Best buy had a different resolution.
Off name brands like Acer looked OK BUT?
What would you look for in that price range, minimum resolution and contrast?
Thanks a lot for your help!

Samsung is usually a good bet for photography. They tend to score well in color accuracy, and, last time I checked, maintained a "no dead pixel" policy, where most other manufactures have varying number of dead pixels (> 0) that are considered acceptable.
A color calibrator and any decent monitor can also work quite well though.
Acer is a truly enormous brand, and are the manufacturer of products for many other brands as well, but I don't have any experience with their LCDs.
I'm gonna get me one. You can see it@Vizio.com
