...our wine group had our holiday champagne/sparkling wine tasting and dinner with our wives.

6 bubblies - 11 tasters.

6. Domaine Carneros Brut - 49pts. (2 seconds, 4 lasts)
5. Moet Chandon Brut Imperial - 47pts. (1 first, 4 lasts)
4. Roederer Anderson Valley Brut - 39pts. (3 firsts, 1 last)
3. Mumm Napa Brut Prestiege - 37pts. (2 firsts, 2 seconds, 2 lasts)
2. J Cuvee 20 - 34pts. (5 firsts, no seconds)
1. Graham Beck Brut - 28pts. (no firsts, 5 second places)

All were between $16 and $20 except for the French Moet which was $30.

My favorite was the Roederer which was creamy and a little yeasty.

The Graham Beck is from South Africa and we have also had their Brut Rose which we like a little better.
