I find there is almost no better value + selection for the inexpensive (but tasty) whites we so enjoy than those offered at Costco over the past year or so. I like that they bring in seasonal wines like Gruner Veltliner in the summer and retain some of my favorites like Tangent Sauv Blanc all the while changing up the heartier chardonnay's too. It seems there's always a number of nice whites to pick thru.

Similarly, great tasting and great value red's for those nights when we decide to fire up the bbq are equally abundant without dropping serious coin. Pickings can range from Cotes du Rhone, Cali and Ore Pinot Noir, nice Merlot/Cab and even a few Italian choices.

When we lived in the city, the choices were far greater and the prices more down to earth and we never visited Costco for wine. Though Costco doesn't have the best selection, we find it does help keep prices down for the daily drinkers.

Do you guys ever visit Costco?

Mike
