...I get offered each year, and I've been on their list for at least 8 years.

I usually balk at the ones over about $45 so they don't offer them to me anymore.

If you buy the more expensive ones, perhaps they'll allocate you more of the higher priced wines next time.

The Old Vines are usually pretty good, especially at the price, but without the complexity and character you get from the single vinyards.

I recently had a 2004 Dragon Vinyard - pretty descriptive, with a lot of heat and spice but little fruit.
