Wife and I received a gift of a bottle of Krug NV Grand Cuvee from Wine.com. Anyone tried this wine and can comment? I assume it's good, given the price and the fact that it's Krug.
Also, recently had a very nice, but young, Amarone from Santi (Amarone della Valpolicella 2000.) Paid $40 at restaurant, so assume approx $18-$20 retail, which is incredibly inexpensive for Amarone. Again, was quite young, but an hour in the glass softened it up nicely. Great Amarone for the price.
