An outstanding collection of some of the worlds finest wines. A marvelous event made absolutely spectacular by several magnificent wines, (posh stuff only, of course).

I won't bore you with notes, just list, in my opinion, the créme de la créme, in the hope you may get to try some.

In no order, except the first wine, which was staggering.

Argentina. Bodegas O Fournier, 'A crux' malbec 2001 (cask sample)
California. Au bon climat XX anniversary 2000 chardonnay
California. ABC Hildegard 2000 pinot gris/pinot blanc
California. Ramey 'hyde vineyard' Chardonnay
California. Ravenswood (4 x various Zinfandels)
Sonoma. Hartford 'marin estate' pinot noir
Sonoma. Hartford zinfandel
Sonoma. Williams Selyem 'russian river valley' pinot noir
Australia. Torbreck 'the factor' Barossa shiraz
Australia. Jim Barry 'the Armagh' Clare valley shiraz
Italy. Marco Maci 'Fra Diavalo' Negromaro

My usual budget for wine is around £8 per bottle but the above wines are what its all about.
