Bottles of Puzelat Cheverny 1999 containing significant sediment and some cloudiness have been brought to my attention. Is this the ropiness that you refer to in an earlier thread? The wine is not all that viscous - it behaves like a regular rich white wine when poured. The particles in the wine do seem to be suspended more then a regular sediment should be. The wine I am refering to is 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Chardonnay. Do you know if the producer recognizes this as a problem?
