Anyone with a thought on this problem?I get a whopping headache (which has worsened over the years) after drinking quality white wines (1999 chardonnays, sauv blancs) or blush wines (white merlot) BUT not after drinking a quality red wine (merlot). It's not the quantity - as I drink only one or two 4 oz. glasses at a time. It's NOT sulfites, as I have tried 'no-added sulfite' chardonnays.
What's my problem? What's the solution (and please don't say drink red!)? I truly like chilled wines...room temperature wines don't appeal to me. I don't like to drink mixed drinks either...HELP me to enjoy an occasional drink!
