It's Now Official, -Contax Is History.

According to our local camera shop and Contax dealer, no more Contax cameras, film or digital are being made. Kyacera dropped them and no one else has picked up the Contax name.
That means Ziess Ikon will only be making lenses for Sony digital cameras, and other optical lenses for various uses.
