Program source plus "fuzz"

Please help...
I have two Forte' 1a's powering biamplifiable speakers crossed over passively.
Recently the right channel of the mid/tweet amp, after a short period, will sound an electronic "pop" and a "fuzz" will be added to the source. Also when shutting down the suspect amp the power light will take a long time to dim to dark compared to the bass amp.
Any ideas?
