I get a "picture" of the taste of wine or coffee in my head (not sure where else it would be) but am not real knowledgeable about wine-speak yet. One term I'm looking for if you could help me out. Some wine is fruity and "clean". In coffee terms it's "acidity" which isn't what it seems (bright, clear, snappy). The Central American coffees have a lot of acidity. Sumatra doesn't. It's more earthy. What's the opposite of clean and fruity with wine? It's kind of like the difference between smooth leather and suede (sp?).
