Community wireless networks sharing internet access

Thought this subject might interest you guys.
I live in a village in the UK where we have had to conduct a vigorous campaign and get over 500 sign ups on an exchange with only 1900 subscribers before BT would deign to supply us with ADSL broadband. Start date is 18th August. An outlying hamlet is too far from the exchange for ADSL to reach so we are implementing a point to point line of site wireless link to the remote hamlet with wireless distribution once its arrived. Its a great solution to overcome this problem plus its free open source software to generate routers. More info at www.locustworld.com

Thanks for a great on line community
