I already have an Intel (TIGER) dual processor (older pentium pro) MOBO with an ADAPTEC wide SCSI onboard controller I traded for. Really didn't cost me anything out of pocket. I am still in learning mode. Can I mix IDE and SCSI or can I just add ATAPI devices (in addition to the 14 SCSI devices). I have 2 4.3 G SCSI HDD's and an ATAPI burner (old HP 7100) Can I set the boot device or must I let the machine choose?. I haven't been able to find out much online , maybe I just don't know where to look?
