Yup! Caterham Cars were the largest dealers in the UK for the Lotus 7. In 1974 when Colin Chapman decided to stop production at Lotus, Caterham bought the rights and jigs to continue the Seven. Since then they have continued to develop the car. Each year the top models get even more extreme (The R500 - 500 bhp per ton - is officially the fastest UK production car from 0-100mph and back from 100-0mph), although the standard models remain very similar in performance.
