drain hole busted

i have a 14' aluminum jon boat. i just bought it and the drain plug is in the bottom of the boat in the back. well it busted and there is a hole about the size of a half dollar. how could i fix this without welding it? i would like to patch it and make a hole in the back like a normal boat. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks
