anybody got a good idea how the ignition system on a 18 hp mercury works? i can tell there are two sides to the electronic ignition ( one for each cylinder) and appear to recieve a signal to one side and not the other, but even the side that recieves a signal does'nt seem to produce anything to go to the coil. can anybody help, i'm about to give up.
