WANT TO USE MY 215 ALUMINUM V8 THROUGH A 'Z' DRIVE . THE OLDSMOBILE
PUTS OUT 206 HP @ 5400RPM. WILL A PENTA OR MERC DRIVE TOLERATE THIS ?
I WILL BUILD THE ADAPTER(S) AND NEED SOMEONE WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THIS
BOAT SCIENCE. (ENGINE IS 327LBS)
THE BOAT IS A 24' GARVEY-LIKE FLAT, WEIGHS 1890LBS LOADED. 1"-4 x 8's (double-decked from transom to 14' forward), epox'ed, sheeted 24ga. S.S. hull, sides & foredeck.
