Are the 2006 Seahawk 400's still decent?

I want to get a second Seahawk 500. Mine is 2004. I have heard rumors that the 2006 are thinner, etc. Anyone know? I am getting a 400 because I can't find a 500! We have two adults and four young kids in our family. Any rafts that will hold all of us so we don't have to double up?
