Glass - stain build up over years - HELP

Hi guys, just doing up the old girl, 15 year old sea ray, and the glass has a lot of permant stains on it, looks like sea salt spray from the past 15 years.
Have been trying like anything to remove this with no result, was about to try and sand it down as a last resort, other than that is to replace the whole lot of glass or a entire brand new windsheld.
