1975 50 hp Evinrude Fuel problems?

1975 50 hp Evinrude
This motor cranks easily and runs at idle well. When throttle is increased the motor bogs down and dies. Very minimal hours on engine compression related? Fuel? Can anyone give me a check list to troubleshoot? Thanks
