As far as what trim "is"....it's the posture of your boat. For instance, running with the bow too high or too low, or listing to one side or the other.

I would assume the seller is referring to an electrically controlled hydraulic device that changes the angle of the motor. This is very nice to have, especially with a heavy motor, but not necessary.
