More help needed (Steven R. are you there?)

A photographer's haven for the lastest in digital or traditional film cameras.

I'm still struggling with the software of the Canon Ixus. I can't view movie clips.
I've downloaded Quicktime and several other programs that supposedly allow me to view .AVI files but all to no avail.
Little window keeps telling me I need PLAY32.EXE and this is an old quicktime file for Win 95. Newer versions don't incorporate this file.
Where do I go to from here?
