....In the July(?)2001 POPULARSCIENCE magazine,
look in "What's New?", and you'll see a short piece about
Motorola and Freeplay coming out with
a HAND-CRANK power module for cellular phones---Freeplay is the company marketing
two models of a 'no-batteries-needed' portable
radio...It may be only a matter of 2 years before we see a
small hand-cranking power supply which could
be plugged into a digital camera---no more
worries about the batteries going dead after
only shooting 20 pictures???!!!!
