Harvest came all at once this year and I don't think I've ever had so many fermenters all going at once. I keep thinking I'm the oldest person in town doing punchdowns at 8pm every night.

Last pick is some straggling Cabernet about 2 hours from here. I'll be leaving at 5am. Such a sexy business.

I am ready for vacation!!!!!

There is LOTS of work-
We visited a few wineries- either to check in, sort fruit, or generally help out-
Now that harvest is over and most of it is in tanks/barrels, it is back to bottling - last year's fruit...
