Hi!
I have a 40HP YAMAHA ENDURO Model: 6F6L motor. Manual-starting.
This motor has a some kind of generator/alternator and a rectifier module installed.
I wonder if I can use this DC output to charge a 12DC 300 AMP battery dirctly without overcharge it? or a I have to install some kind of regualtor in the system.

I'd ask Yamaha! Chances are high that you can connect it directly to the battery. (Add your own voltmeter for verification. In my vehicle, the battery sits at 12.7 volts when the motor's off and 14.8 volts when running.
