Hi, Ive never done this personaly, But I do seam very talented at slaping junk together to make it do what I want. It would seam to me, tht a small car alternator, a 1 or 2 hp weed wacker engien and a regulator, also from some old car, or bought in the autoparts store, or maybe radioshack would do just what you want, a pully, a belt drive, a small piece of board to mount it to and your styleing. It would even run off your outboard gas mix. Personaly, If I was gonna make this, I would also pipe in a underwater exshast to help muffle sound, Im pretty sure thats legal ta do, Ive sean outboards with underwater exshast. You posing that idea has made my mind wirl, and I am thinking of making this prodject myself. I also, have a lack of 12 volt power on my boat. I was thinking of either a outboard with a alternator, or a solar panel charger, but he solor thing just wouldnt cut it at night. If you like my concelt, ill help ya knock together a design.
