I recently purchaced this motor for 350.00. It has 1990 in the serial
number. Was this a good deal? It runs really well. It looks like a
Mercury motor. Do I go to sears for parts or a mercury dealer?
I have it on my 1970 Funcraft 15 ft. fiberglass jon boat.
that was made in Panama City FL.

I have a 15 game fisher. most of the game fisher motors were made by force marine. now that mercury has aquired force. I would say that a force dealer or merc dealer should have parts. Sears no longer sells these motors all though some parts are available through sears. 350.00 is about average for a 9hp sears in very good condition., T.G.
