I just bought my first boat. A little 14 footer with a 3.5 sears outboard engine. I don't know if or how to tell if this engine is a 2-stroke engine or 4-stroke? Also if it is a 2-stroke, what is the mix ratio for the fuel?Thanks

Your sears is a 2 stroke air cooled motor. If it does'nt say 32 to 1 or 16 to 1 ratio mix on the fuel cap I would mix 24 to 1 ratio to be safe. This is roughly 16 oz oil to 3 gallons mid grade gas. Hope this helps T.G. P.S.More info might be available @ small outboards.com
