After the battery running out now the engine will not restart after putting in a new battery. This is the second time and im wondering what to do. It turns over and seems like it wants to start but just wont catch. What to check and do to get this 75hp mercury 1 year old outboard started.

did the battery get old or did something on the motor cause it to fail? Maybe that same thing is preventing it from starting. Is the new bat. fully charged?
