i have recently purchased a 9.9 gamefisher and am wondering who manufactured it some say chrysler some say mercury. model #225-581996
ser # oeo36312 if anyone can tell me where i can locate parts and a manual i would appreciate it. The motor is black or dark grey with red trim. thanks in advance for any assistance

This motor is a mid eighties motor. I donot have a model number decoder. I do know that the red and black ones are made by force marine which is chrysler and after the last buy out now owned by Mercury. I donot know where to find a manual. I currently own a couple of these motors in different hp., I get my parts from a dealer who repairs all makes of motors.
