I donot know the age, but I do know that if there are no cooling fins on the cylinder and head; Ie; they are flat and smooth ,It has a water pump. some of these had water cooled exhaust.Others did not. The tube you describe is where the bulk of your exhaust should exit. If it has two small holes on the back of the motor right together. that is the pee hole and water should exit there. tells you that the water is circulating. Tell us more, Tailgunner

Got the 3.5 Gamefisher running, but the engine stalls if i push in the choke more than a 1/3 of the way in. Ran it for an hour on the lake. Will run steady but doesn't seem like it is at its peak output. Can't figure out the choke thing. The engine will run faster as i slowly push in the choke until I hit that point then it begins to stall. Any info would be helpful, Thanks
