i have a problem. we had it running the other day and it cut out on us. it just sounded like it just died. we got it back here and it wouldn't start again. we changed the coil, condenser, points, and plug. we have the setting for the points at .20. it still sounds like it isn't getting any fire. does anyone have any idea what else I could do. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

If you have fire and fuel and compression at the right place at the right time you should have a running engine. Regap the points to .016 the plugs to .030 and try again. If the carb adjustment is correct and the gas is clean and none of the above helps You have to be losing compression. Broken piston ring, hole in piston or blown head gasket. Let me know, Tailgunner

hey tailgunner could you please give me your email i would appreciate it if you would help me out. i had spark this morning and now i have none. the compression is good. it didn't lose compression over 5 minutes. we don't really understand what else it could be. thanks for your help.

well i do now have spark and it is getting fuel. we are going to check the compression tomorrow afternoon. is there anything else that it could be? thanks
