...I just acquired a Yashicamat 124, it's in
good condition, and am interested
in seeing other owners' photos
taken with this easy-to-use inexpensive
medium-format camera...
When I was in Jr College,in 1976, the
college newspaper used a
Yashicat 124G for all the 'head shots' of
people being interviewed
by the reporters...

JohnYou have an excellent camera and I doubt pictures posted will do it justice.
I used a Yashica 124 for many years at RIT before finally purchasing a Mamiya C330, and if it wasn't for wanting interchangable lenses, the 124 was practically the equal.
It is a workhorse too. When I worked for Playboy in AC, we had 8 or more being used for 6 hours daily by camera bunnies. Now if they van take good shots, you can too.
