HIi would like to scan old negatives but
theyre dirty...theyre 5-10 years old.how to clean them?

PEC 12 sounds ok but I haver used it, when my negs etc get dirty , which isn't much or often; I wash them by hand in filtered water and photoflo. Then hang them up to dry in a dust free drying cabinet. This works well for me.
