Upgrade speakers or in-dash unit first?

I have a 1998 Accord EX. 6x9s on the rear deck, 5.25 inch in the doors and tweeters on the dash It has decent sound, but not impressive. I want to improve it a bit.
Should I start by upgrading the in-dash unit or the speakers? All the speakers or just the fronts?

Always change the speakers first ,it will bring much better result,then changing the head unit.cheers

  My last pickup I went with a new head unit mostly because I could hook up a six disk cd changer with it. It was a no slouch kenwood. I was happy for 3 years until I went to sell the truck. I swapped the OEM head unit back in and was surprised in the difference in sound. I should have never taken it out!

I am in the same boat. However, I will replace the stock radio/cd along with all of the speakers at the same time.
