This is the manual focus version of the Nikon 2020 (also designated F301). It is a reasonably robust camera, but somewhat heavy. A decent price for a body in very good shape is probably in the $150 range.

It strikes me that what you may be looking for is an inexpensive "starter" SLR that gets you into the lens system of a major player. If this is the case, I would suggest looking at the lighter Nikon manual focus bodies, like the FM, FM2, FE, FE-2 or FA. These are all great bodies.
