Sea change in the wine reviewing business...Wine Advocate sold.

Robert Parker is dropping the print version of his "The Wine Advocate" and going strictly web based. He also said he intends to step down as its editor in chief, turning over editorial oversight to his Singapore-based correspondent, Lisa Perrotti-Brown.
The future of the wine market is definitely shifting east!
Compared to Hi Fi....his mag has 50,000 subscribers who pay 75 bucks per year, and previously had no advertising. he will now accept non-wine based ads.
Stereophile is about 80,000 subscribers and we pay about a buck an issue?
Parker also says the Advocate will be shifting to shorter reviews...I wonder if his target audience just wants to bypass the wine discussion part of the reviews and get right to the XX/100 part they really care about.
