wine chiller recs

Posted by BS64 on September 12, 2012 at 01:53:43:

Did a search for the word "chiller" and got zip. My wife has expressed interest in a wine chiller as she is the red conneisseur in the family. I would like to begin the search as she is quite busy. But I prefer to look beyond "big box" stores.

Looking for a 6 or 8 bottle table-top size. It must operate quietly as it will reside on a side table in the breakfast nook. The tiled floor plan is open to the family room, so quite a bit of noise reflection takes place.

A quick search has some good prospects, but I was hoping to get some first-hand experience. TIA...

BTW, any River Road Chardonnay fans here? I have not had any since our relo from VA to TX over 2 yrs ago. I need to make a trip to the liquor store!
