Wine getting less complex

Recent "Letter to the Editor" in Wine Spectator pointed out the loss of complexity in wines due to people wanting wines approacheable in less than 10 years.

I've really noticed it over the last 25 years. I just don't get those epiphany moments any more.

Sad.
