The more you ship, the better rate you receive from ups and fedex. It also depends on distance of course. For me to ship to Seattle is around $3 a bottle. And I get terrible rates. I suppose I could call and threaten to drop ups for fedex, but no reps ever call me back anyway.

Don't forget you have to pay extra for adult signature...even though in many cases UPS just dumps it on the porch anyway.

I personally don't add any profit to my shipping...my customers pays the actual costs. (yeah, I'm a shitty business person.)
