Inexpensive cab recommendations..

...a friend of mine who is the banker for numerous wineries, including Cameron Hughes, says his Lot 200 cab @ $28 is supposed to be the best they've ever released.

If you aren't familiar with them, try Google or Costco.

Another friend has touted Poets Row cab @ $9 sold by Trader Joes.

The wine guy there told him it was as good as other cabs at 4 times the price.

I tried it and have to say it's fruity and balanced with no oak or tannins - a decent everyday drinker, but I think I can do better for $30.

Let me know what you think if you try them.
