Chasseur 2008...
Posted by mkuller on July 3, 2010 at 11:00:38:
...I picked up a bottle of their Sonoma County, their least expensive at around $30, and tried it last night.
The wine shop had two others, the Russian River Valley and a RRV with a vinyard designate, both more expensive.
The Sonoma was very fruit forward, almost a one note wine, lacking subtlety and the complexity I expect from Chasseur or a good pinot noir.
I can't recommend it.
