Interesting zin...

Posted by mkuller on June 29, 2010 at 20:55:56:

...I visited the Armida Winery a couple of years ago on the way out of Sonoma on the way to the Russian River to taste some pinot noirs.

A friend who is a commercial banker for some wineries suggested we stop here.

An $80 zinfandel? Are you kidding me? Even with the clever packaging.

Then last year I tasted their less expensive zin and it was good.

Last weekend I tasted the 2008 and it was really good.

So I went on line and bought a case. If nothing else, it will make great gifts for my zin loving friends.
